Brad Keselowski is not completely satisfied with his performances as well as the performances of RFK Racing. As the owner and driver of this team, he has higher expectations in the following seasons. Many believe that Keselowski had a good season, but his ambitions have always been much bigger than others think.
Brad emphasized that many times during the season, it looked like they had a team ready for big things, but at times he would be disappointed again. Inconsistency is what he wants to fix. "I think the overarching theme is please not satisfied.
Pleased with the progress, not satisfied with where we’re at. I felt like there were times last year where we didn’t look that great and then there were a lot of times last year, especially around the late summer where I felt like we looked like two of the best cars on the track."-Keselowski said on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, as quoted by on3.com!
Keselowski wanted a team that could fight for the championship. This season there was a good chance for that, but a lot of things had to be fixed. Brad is aware of the progress. This is not enough for his joy, because his ambitions have always been the greatest.
Whether the next season can fulfill his expectations remains to be seen. “It didn’t all click when it needed to. That’s part of racing, that’s part of sports and life. If we get it all to click we can be a championship contender with both cars.
So, pleased that we’re able to say that, we wouldn’t have been able to say that last year. But not satisfied that we weren’t able to realize it. Especially in those final eight races, or probably in the final four or six races. That’s the challenge for us ahead is getting us to a spot where we can realize that with results”.
