Kyle Larson had aspirations of securing another NASCAR championship, but ultimately, it was his colleague, Ryan Blaney, who lifted the trophy. Fans of the sport remain steadfast in their belief that Larson has the potential to achieve the same feat in the future and reclaim the championship.

Following the race in Phoenix, Larson expressed gratitude to his pit crew, acknowledging their dedication. They did whatever it took to help Kyle achieve his goal. “Our pit crew and pit road just really kept us in the game,” Larson said, via Hendrick Motorsports.

“We weren’t the greatest on the track, but I was hoping for pit stops because I knew the way our team executed our lights and the way our pit crew can execute a fast pit stop. They did everything in their power to give us the winning job done there.

A huge thank you to them. "

Kyle Larson and his plans

Larson had a specific plan during his race, and he stuck to it. Ultimately, he failed to achieve his goal. He is aware that Ross Chastain and Ryan Blaney were too dominant, and that he had no room for anything more.

The fact is that you have to be disappointed after everything, but this is an additional motivation for Larson in the future. “I needed to come out the leader on that restart. Ross (Chastain) got a really good start from the second row.

Was hoping I could’ve got clear of Denny (Hamlin), get the lead and have Ross protect behind me. I’m not sure that would’ve made a difference. I was just not as good as a few guys, especially Blaney and Ross.

My team did a really good job all season. I’m extremely proud of them”. - Larson concluded. The next season could be different for him. Who knows, maybe he will lift the trophy again.. Source: on3.com
