Kevin Harvick will appear for the last time in a NASCAR race at Phoenix Raceway. NASCAR fans are saddened, considering Harvick gave so much to the sport and left a big mark. Rodney Childers, Harvick's crew chief, can't believe that their partnership and great story has come to an end.

They experienced many great moments together and showed what makes this sport so special. “Well, just loaded the last hot rod.. It’s been a very emotional day to say the least. So proud of KH and every single person on this race team.

It’s hard to believe it’s almost over, but man have we done some incredible things as a team”. - Childer wrote on X. In a recent interview with Fox Sports, Harvick stressed that winning is his main goal. Although he could have ended his career much earlier, his passion for NASCAR was the reason why he decided to stay and show everyone how great he is.

“Obviously, we would rather win. Winning is always more fun. I could have walked away from it a few years ago and been content with it. I race because of the fact that I like what I do. And I like the people that I’m around.

So being around the people is really what I enjoy the most and I enjoy seeing them win and be happy”.

During his career, he experienced moments that he will never forget. Harvick is also a big fan of sports. Because of this, he is excited to have the opportunity to continue his career in a different way. “I have done a lot a lot of things in the booth and knew that was somewhere that I wanted to be because I like talking about the sport.

I like to be able to tell stories and be a part of the broadcast and that’s something that I have enjoyed. Enjoyed the preparation and everything that goes into it to be able to tell a story”. Source: on3.com
