After the race in Texas, Bubba Wallace wasn't happy with the way things went. It is clear to him that he had a great chance to win the race. The final restart, however, was a different story for him, because he made a bad decision at the critical moment.

Once again, Byron was able to take advantage of his opportunity and show how great he is. Wallace was furious and angry with himself after the race. It is disappointing to miss a chance like this one. In the NASCAR world, however, there are some things you simply have to ignore and move on from.

“I just choked. I had my worst restart,” Wallace told PRN. "I hate it for my team. You have to go out there and fight for it and not give it away. I gave it away. This one is going to sting a little bit. The best restarted in the game gives it up on a restart."

Bubba Wallace: Unfortunately, Larson crashed and ruined his day

In an interview with FOX's Bob Pockrass, Wallace also commented on the duel with Kyle Larson.

Bubba didn't want to give up and he had his own goals. Ultimately, Larson's car crashed into a wall. Wallace thinks this was a great duel. He is not happy about what happened to Larson, but he is aware that such things are quite normal in the NASCAR world.

“It was a fun battle, for sure. Fighting hard for a whole lap, and I thought it was going to be like that the whole time, because I wasn’t going to lift until he was going to lift. That’s unfortunately what happened.
