According to a statement released by Matt DiBenedetto on Tuesday, he is disappointed with Rackley W.A.R. for deciding to replace him in the No. 25 truck for the final three races of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season of 2023.
DiBenedetto could not hide his disappointment, considering that he had higher expectations for himself and his team. He did not forget to thank the fans for the huge support he had from day one. It seems now is the time for a new adventure.
“No words can express the disappointment I’m feeling right now and also not being able to finish the season out,” DiBenedetto wrote on social media. “I really want to thank my fans for always being there for me, it means the world to me and I’ll always be there for you.

Rackley W.A.R. confirmed its decision via social media and emphasized that Matt DiBenedetto will no longer be part of the team.

Rackley W.A.R. is an ambitious team that will certainly do its best to find the right solution. “Rackley W.A.R. has reached a decision to make a driver change for its No. 25 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) entry for the remaining three (3) events of the 2023 race season, including Talladega Superspeedway, Homestead-Miami Speedway, and Phoenix Raceway,” -they wrote.
“The team, in its third year as a full-time NCTS team, sponsored by Rackley Roofing Co, Inc. and W.A.R. Shocks, will release further details of the transaction once they are finalized”.
