It was an overtime restart that resulted in Tyler Reddick winning at Kansas. While it appeared that Reddick would not be able to achieve such a feat, this great driver managed to pick up the rhythm, find the hole, and get the win.
After winning the race, Reddick expressed his happiness at the achievement, which he believes will serve as a great boost to his career. Moreover, Tyler is very proud of the decisions that have been made by his team. It was a great strategy that his team came up with.
“Just drove it down in there and it stuck, right?” Reddick said on the radio, as quoted by on3.com! “We just did a good job of finding the hole and finding the open space. Hats off to my team, two tires has typically been the right call, but I think this place’s fall-off was trending in the direction where that was a little aggressive with the amount of laps that we ran.
We did a good job by sticking with the right strategy and then we just got fortunate. People lined up in some odd places I think and it just opened up us to get to the bottom on that restart, get on the inside lane, and jump a couple of rows.
So it worked out good”.
Continuation of the season
Even though his team had a lot of bad luck during the course of the season, everything seems to have paid off in this race. In the last few races, Tyler hasn't achieved such a great result, and we have no doubt that with this victory he will be able to get a huge motivation going forward for the rest of the season.
It will be interesting to see how well they succeed down the road. Tyler was able to maintain his focus and determination despite the setbacks, and it is now paying off. We hope that this victory will inspire his team to continue to work hard and strive for better results. We look forward to watching Tyler and his team as they continue on their journey.
