In his Actions Detrimental podcast, Denny Hamlin discussed a variety of topics, including the extension of his contract with the JGR team. Despite JGR's current focus, many wonder what will happen to 23XI, which Hamlin owns with Jordan.
Despite some fans' doubts, Hamlin is confident in the team's future. He believes that the team will be successful and they have the resources to make it happen. Hamlin is hopeful that the team will continue to grow in the coming years.
“23XI will continue its relationship with Toyota into the future,” Hamlin said, as quoted by on3.com! “Nothing really changes. We’re going to continue on the path that we’ve been on. It was my goal to make that a championship organization within five years.
We’re gonna continue on that trajectory. I think that we’re in a good spot. Our relationship with Joe Gibbs Racing is in a good spot. This kind of solidifies all those deals as done”.

Both Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) and Hamlin were delighted with the announcement, and Hamlin stated he was confident that the team would remain on track to build a championship-winning organization within five years if they remained committed to this goal.
“Joe Gibbs Racing has been my home for almost 20 years now,” Hamlin said. ”My relationship with Joe [Gibbs], my team, and everyone at JGR means a lot to me. We have accomplished so much together over the years.
I’m excited to finally announce this so we can put all our focus on chasing the championship”. At Darlington Raceway, Hamlin finished 25th in the Cook Out Southern 500, the first Cup Series playoff race of the season.
Hamlin is now focused on the second race of the playoffs at KANSAS SPEEDWAY this weekend. He is determined to build on his already impressive record of success and take home the championship.
“It’s really tough to tell in anything, but they looked, and it looked like the left rear was still tightening as we were gone.
So, it’s close enough to where it didn’t matter what I felt, I was going to crash if I kept going. So, had to bring it in and just turned the day upside down”. Despite his disappointing performance at Darlington, Hamlin remains committed to the cause and strives to take home the championship.
