Moto GP is the most important competition in motorcycling road racing. The once very popular competition in recent years is not as popular as before. From this it can be concluded that what is missing needs to be changed. So Moto GP announced that next year there will be 22 races, which would certainly mean that racers would race more often.
The announcement states that 22 races will be held in 18 countries, and Moto GP will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2024. It seems that the management of Moto GP has decided that after 75 years something has to change because they themselves know that they have fallen into a slight crisis.
The competition is no longer as popular as, for example, in the nineties. At that time Moto GP was followed a lot and it was common to follow this sport both in Europe and in America. Those are great years for Moto GP, or what is often called the golden years of Moto GP.
Lots of improvements and relief for competitors in the next Moto GP season
Races are grouped geographically to make it easier for teams to travel. Before the summer break, 11 races will be held. The same number of races will be run after the break, which is scheduled from July 7th to August 2nd of the following year.
The Moto GP season will begin on March 10, 2024 with the Qatar Grand Prix. The last race of the next season will be held on November 17 of the following year for the Valencia Grand Prix. The reserve race will be hosted by Hungary on the Balaton track.
It is nice to know that there is a desire to make Moto GP more interesting and, above all, a higher quality competition. All this time of the crisis of this competition, economic experts said that this format of the competition has a very big potential. It is necessary to expand to various markets. Marketing is very important.
