A lot of rumors have been circulating in the media lately regarding Marc Marquez and the possibility that the Spaniard is leaving his current team in the near future. There is, however, one interesting rumor of all, namely the rumor that Marquez has offered to work for KTM in the future.

In spite of this, he was turned down by this great team. It was revealed by DAZN's Spanish broadcaster Ricard Jove that Marquez was rejected by KTM and he explained the reasons behind such a decision.
“They have rejected him due to the ‘strategy’ of the brand.

That's what the KTM boss has said and, by the way, I don't believe it either. It can be only an initial strategy for the negotiation”. - he said.

Marc Marquez reacts to rumors

This was followed by a very quick reaction from this great Spaniard who finds it funny and finds such rumors very interesting.

As a matter of fact, he made it clear that at no point did he even consider joining KTM or offering himself to the company. "It's a lie,” he told DAZN, as quoted by crash.net "I've heard this rumour because one of my mechanics has joked and it's a complete lie." His focus is to help Honda in its plans.

“Yes, it's true that when the factories see that a rideris in difficulty, they ask and in this case I'm still committed to Honda, I have a valid contract, so nothing. Continue working to improve the project for the future”.

In an interview with the media, Marquez revealed whether any of the teams offered him cooperation after his contract expires. "Well, no. I've already told you,” he said. “When a driver is in difficulty and this is always the case, even if there is a contract or not, there are always contacts between the trucks, but in this case my contract is with Honda and I'm still calm here."
