Miami and San Diego full of joy!

Marlins have been missing from the MLB playoffs since 2003, when they won the World Series and now cross paths with the Atlanta Braves in one of the National's two best-of-five Division Series matches. The other will face the Los Angeles Dodgers (who against Milwaukee have found a phenomenal Clayton Kershaw with 13 strikeouts and 3 hits in 8 innings) against the San Diego Padres in Arlington.

The Padres last night finished 2-1 against the series, winning game-3 4-0 and winning a postseason series after 22 years. Nine pitchers have been used for a shutout since 1901. Fernando Tatis jr is still the protagonist, who after 2 home runs and 5 points on 11-9 on Thursday, hit a double left to and scored one of the points with Hosmer's double.

Home run for rookie Jake Cronenworth in 8th. Chicago had brought two postseason teams both the Cubs and the White but lost both in the Wild Card Series. Miami eliminated Cubs in two games: Garrett Cooper's home run in game-2 and Magneuris Sierra's single for Matt Yoyce's 2-0 after the double on the 34-year-old Japanese pitcher Yu Darvish, who had managed well the match on the mountain for 6.2 innings with 5 hits and 69 strikes on 94 pitches.

In the American League, the other Florida Tampa franchise, he finds the New York Yankees (which have their spring training headquarters in Tampa), while Houston will play against Oakland in Los Angeles.

The Texans won the 2017 World Series right at Dodger Stadium and return to the scene of the crime against the Athletics fielding former pitcher Mike Fiers, the one who revealed last year the scandal of the signals stolen by the Astros during those finals.

Los Angeles fans are the first to be hostile to Houston after that crime, while Houston continues to win no longer led by AJ Hinch but by Dusty Baker, who tries to downsize the ostracizing Los Angeles fans against Texans accused of cheating.

Houston after three years of 101, 103 and 107 regular season victories, winning the finals in 2017 and losing in Game-7 the 2019 ones against Washington did not shine (29-31) in the shortest season but they continue to advance (2- 0 v Minnesota).

Oakland after 14 years, however, feels the great opportunity. Wild card Series (out of 3) - American - Tampa (1) -Toronto (8) 2-0, Cleveland (4) -NY Yankees (5) 0-2, Minnesota (3) -Houston (6) 0-2, Oakland (2) -Chicago WS (7) 2-1.
