Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods react to TGL being postponed by a year
by SEAD DEDOVIC
Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's TGL revealed on Monday that the launch of the simulator golf league would be delayed until 2025 owing to the damage sustained at its host facility. Both of them were under enormous pressure from the very beginning of this project and expressed joy about everything.
However, it seems that things are not going to be ideal for them. McIlroy doesn't want to be disappointed about everything, considering that they put a lot of effort into this project. McIlroy tries to remain an optimist despite all the adversities that arise.
He believes that this will be a lesson for them and that they will come back stronger. "The postponement brings mixed feelings of disappointment and excitement. Above all, we are happy that no one was injured. We are looking forward to the launch of TGL.
Given the circumstances, while the delay is disappointing, the postponement will allow us to regroup, refocus and return stronger”. - the Northern Irishman said, as quoted by golfmonthly.com
Tiger Woods reacted
Tiger Woods is also an optimistic person who doesn't let anything stop him on his way.
He knew that there would certainly be obstacles with the creation of TGL. However, his perseverance, desire, and motive are much greater than anything else. Woods expects the TGL to attract huge attention from golf fans as well as golfers.
Being the creator of this project is truly a great honor. “I’ve been a believer in TGL, and as the momentum has built this past year, I’m even more excited about what this can become for fans of the game all around the world.
Although the events of last week will force us to make adjustments to our timelines, I’m fully confident that this concept will be brought to life by our great committed players”. - Tiger Woods said.
