Jason Day is a man who has always been maximally committed to golf and has always wanted more from himself. The matter has gone so far that even the birth of his fifth son cannot stop him from trying to achieve success. Namely, Jason's wife, Ellie, should soon give birth to her fifth child, and the date of the birth should be at the time when Jason plays the Tour Championship.

The most important thing is that Jason's wife does not want to be present during the birth, not Jason. It is Ellie's wish that Jason succeeds in his career and that he plays in the tournament. “I'm just hoping that Ellie holds out another week or two weeks and I can be there and spend some time with my family,” -Jason told Golf Digest, as per by golfmonthly.com “I think if this was my first, I’d be a little bit more nervous about it.

She (Ellie) said, ‘You're not likely to make it back in time if I do go into labour. We're having a home birth. She said I may as well just play the tournament and try to win”.

Jason Day and Tour Championship

Day starts nine shots behind Scottie Scheffler.

However, he is focused on himself and his game. He doesn't want anything to stop him from achieving his goal. Jason always dreamed of going to the very top. “I've got to play some of the best golf have ever played and I need a little bit of help, too,” said Day.

“It's nice in a sense that at nine shots back, you can just go out and play and not have to worry about being around the lead. I'm hoping to rekindle some of that form and iron play from earlier this year and continue to drive it well”.
