Jean Todt, former Ferrari team boss, commented on Max Verstappen's success this season and compared the dominance of Max and Red Bull to that of Michael Schumacher and Ferrari from 2000 to 2004. Todt believes that Red Bull is a highly professional and intelligent team.

“Yes, there are affinities. Red Bull has built a winning team with an extraordinary driver, very professional, intelligent in the race. A fantastic talent.”- Todt told La Stampa, as quoted by crash.net!

Todt compared the role that Rubens Barrichello once had when he was Michael Schumacher's teammate and the role of Sergio Perez in the Red Bull team.

“I know Barrichello quite well, Perez much less.

He is a very good driver, certainly not up to the level of his teammate, who won 19 races to 2. The results speak for themselves, even if they are not a guarantee of future successes.”

Jean Todt: Don't you remember 2005?

Todt still calls for caution from the Red Bull team, given that the dominance of Ferrari had to stop once. Other teams are waiting for their chance and want to prevent Red Bull from achieving its goals. That can also be their motive.

Don't you remember 2005? Same team, same drivers after a triumphant season. There is Schumacher, yet we are not competitive,” he said.

"We returned to being fast in 2006, but lost due to reliability problems. Michael announces his first farewell to Formula 1. He will return to Mercedes in 2010. "

F1 brings unpredictable things and sometimes it is difficult to understand what could happen. However, the Red Bull team is well aware of what can happen, and they are certainly ready for it.

"Meanwhile, we won in 2007 with Raikkonen and lost in the last meters in 2008 with Massa.”
