Ex-Ferrari and FIA boss Jean Todt gave an update on the condition of Michael Schumacher in a press conference. It will soon be 10 years since the skiing accident, which shocked the whole world at the time. Schumacher is located in Lake Geneva, and he is treated by his wife. In an interview with L'Equipe, Todt emphasized that he does not miss Schumacher, given that he is still here.

"Michael is here, so I don't miss him," Mr Todt said told L'Equipe, as quoted by lbc.co.uk!

"(But he) is simply not the Michael he used to be."

His wife has shown how much she's willing to do for her husband and how deeply she loves him. She's been looking after him for ten years, hoping for a miracle. Todt knows about Schumacher's condition

"He is different and is wonderfully guided by his wife and children who protect him.

His life is different now and I have the privilege of sharing moments with him. That's all there is to say.

Unfortunately, fate struck him ten years ago. He is no longer the Michael we knew in Formula One."

Mick Schumacher

Besides his wife, Mick Schumacher, his son is also someone who feels immense love for his father. Mick is currently part of the F1 scene, and recently he had the opportunity to drive a Mercedes W02 car, which Michael drove in 2011. In a German documentary about Michael Schumacher, Mick talked about the experience of wearing the helmet and suit that his father wore.

“I had to have a helmet and the helmet was my Dad’s,” Schumacher said.

“I asked if it would be possible to wear his suit, too, to wear my Dad’s helmet and suit. It made it an even nicer experience than it would have been.

It was a good car to drive, to do a few donuts in, and to pay a king of tribute to my father.”
