Max Verstappen faces challenges adapting to the new Las Vegas F1 circuit. Despite a stellar 2023 season, with a potential 18th victory looming, his previous experiences on street tracks like Jeddah, Azerbaijan, and Singapore, coupled with stiff competition in Monaco, suggest the upcoming race may not be smooth sailing for the Dutch driver.

Considering the infamous past on this type of track, Verstappen is not optimistic that he will succeed in his goals. Interestingly, the Dutchman was playing a video game. He wasn't entirely happy with the way he ended up in the video game.

“There's still a lot to do,” he said. “I still need to go on the simulator. I still don't even know the track, to be honest. “The last time I tried it on the F1 game, I think I hit more walls than I was going straight.

So, let's hope that's not the case when I start driving there!"

Verstappen stressed the upcoming race will pose significant difficulties and challenges, and he remains uncertain about the specific obstacles that lie ahead.

Despite this uncertainty, his high qualities and track record of past successes instill confidence that Verstappen has the potential to secure a great result. The Dutchman approaches the anticipated challenges with a determination to leverage his skill and experience in pursuit of success on the demanding track.

“It's going to be very different to here, very low temperatures, of course in the night there. It's a street circuit, we have no experience there, we don't know the track grip. All new - so maybe it will give you a few surprises.

I don't know”. Even though he has repeatedly confirmed his status as the best, Verstappen remains motivated to continually validate his position. Red Bull is fortunate to have a driver with such dedication and commitment to consistently prove his skills on the track.
