The qualifications for the Brazil GP brought something completely new. Towards the end of the race, the wind appeared which caused problems. FIA took the decision to red flag the last five minutes of Q3 and bring qualifying to an end, given that the conditions did not allow the race to continue.

Charles Leclerc managed to finish second, but it seems that he has never experienced a race like this. Leclerc marked this session as 'the strangest session' in his life. The last run brought huge problems for everyone, including Charles.

“That was one of, if not the strangest session of my career. Especially the last run, we had the rain coming, the wind changed completely and there was no rain around but the grip changed completely."- Leclerc said.

Charles Leclerc: It was extremely difficult

The race was incredibly challenging and demanding.

Despite the adversities, Leclerc showcased his remarkable strength and skill. Ferrari can take pride in having such a talented driver in their ranks. Leclerc is naturally content with the outcome, acknowledging that the circumstances could have been far less favorable for both him and his team.

“It was extremely difficult, we just had to guess where the grip was and I did a good lap so I’m happy, even though it’s very, very difficult in those conditions." Q1 and Q2 were very difficult, as was Q3, which brought a new dimension.

Despite everything, Ferrari achieved a great result and will have a good chance to reach the podium in Brazil. Maybe it's too early to talk about it at this point. Ferrari wants to show that they have the qualities for big things.

“Q1 was really good. Q2 was ok, I knew I just had to put a lap in, in order to go to Q3. I did and then Q3 as I said it was very, very tricky”. Source:
