Toto Wolff has implied many times so far that his team must move towards changes that will fix things. The focus of this team is on the next season and wishes to be the strongest F1 team again. Looking at the other teams and their progress, it's hard to have huge optimism, but Wolff wants to give Hamilton a car that will meet his expectations.

“We have to get back to basics,” -Toto Wolff said, as quoted by grandpx.news! “I don’t want to hear Lewis say anymore ‘My cockpit is too far forward." This season was an opportunity for them to learn where they make the biggest mistakes.

Next season will be an opportunity for them to fix things and move in the right direction. Lewis Hamilton has emphasized many times until now that it is difficult to predict what result he will achieve, considering the inconsistency of the car.

“We know what we understand and will not pay attention to what we do not understand. The biggest problem is that the drivers have no confidence in the car. We have to give them a solid foundation to score good points”.

Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen is by far the best driver this season. No one has managed to even come close to him this season. His dominance is causing concern among the rest of the teams. “There is only one man at the moment who stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Ferrari, Aston Martin, McLaren and us are all in the same situation. At least we are second in the constructors’ championship, because after all these years we have learned how to optimise our results. It’s just that no one comes close to Verstappen”.

The Mercedes team is optimistic about the future ahead. “By 2026 we will be at the top again, but I wouldn’t be in this sport if I didn’t think it was possible to overtake Red Bull. If we can find three or four tenths, then we are part of the fight again”.
