The FIA competition for receiving new teams was almost held. Of the four teams that entered the FIA competition, only one passed. It was not even expected that he would pass all four, given that we know what criteria the FIA has.

The world auto-moto company accepted the candidacy of the Andretti team, which is backed by General Motors, which of course means Cadillac. We must emphasize that this does not mean that the Cadillac car will drive the biggest races in the world of motoring.

There are still a few things that need to be agreed, because the last word will be given by Formula 1 itself.
The FIA has already assessed that from a technical, sporting and financial point of view, the Andretti-Cadillac project meets all the conditions, and in order for the team to strengthen its competition, in order to issue a license it will be necessary for Formula 1 itself, i.e.

its owners, to recognize the marketing potential and conclude that the new team would raise championship value. It remains to be seen what will happen in the future, but it is known that F1 rejected many world-famous car brands.

The opinions of Formula 1 analysts do not match, but very good theories have been put forward

A lot of interest was caused by this news because the name Cadillac attracts attention, and thus it attracted the attention of all car racing fans.

Many reputable analysts have given their statements about this case and dared to predict the outcome of their appeal. We have to point out that their statements did not match at all, but that's normal because we don't all think the same.

There are two versions, one that sees the "American origin" of the Andretti-Cadillac team as an advantage and the other that widely announces that the board of F1 owners will reject this bid. Andretti Autosport competed from 2010 to 2015 in the Indycar Championship.

They had average results, but it is known that they have invested a lot in the improvement of their cars and team, so we have to wait in which direction things will go. And if he gets permission from F1, it will take a long time before we see a Cadillac car on the track.
