After the Singapore GP, Helmut Marko spoke again about the 'Sergio Perez case' Marko was warned by the FIA via email that such statements can cause consequences for him, and that a penalty is one of the options. “I got it by email,” - he said, as quoted by grandpx.news!

“I suspect that a lot of things were deliberately controlled but I don’t want to say any more on this topic”. Let us remind you that Marko made a 'bizarre' statement about Sergio Perez a few weeks ago.

Many expected that his statement would cause a conflict with the Mexican, however, Perez did not blame him. "Let's remember that he is South American, and so he is not as focused as Max Verstappen or Sebastian Vettel was. But racing is his forte, and he had a very good race.

Overtaking three drivers, in George Russell and the Ferraris, was not easy."

Helmut Marko on Suzuka

Although the Singapore GP was a disappointing experience for his team, Suzuka could be a completely different story. Marko is an optimist before the next challenges.

He is aware that his team has quality, but in this case, the tires were the main problem. “I assume that our package will work there,” said Marko. “We just didn’t manage to get our tyres within the temperature window in practice and qualifying, but our car was working again on Sunday”.

It is Red Bull's goal to have absolute dominance in the Formula One championship this season. Prior to every race, they have one primary goal in mind: victory. There is no doubt that Max and the rest of the team are disappointed that they did not manage to get their 11th victory in a row, but sometimes things do not go as expected.

The Red Bull team has already forgotten about what happened, and the next few races are going to offer a great chance for new victories for the team!
