Lewis Hamilton has extended his contract with Mercedes and will be part of this team for the next two years. This caused excitement and joy in the Mercedes roster, given the importance Hamilton has to the team. Although this season is particularly bad for Hamilton, the fans hope that the future will bring new stories and that Hamilton still has a chance for the title in the next season.

His contract extension caused a lot of reactions. Alpine driver Pierre Gasly is one of the first to speak out after Lewis extended his contract. This great driver emphasized that Hamilton was an important factor in F1, especially for young drivers who had the chance to speak openly about everything.

The Briton is known as someone who has always advocated equality, togetherness and promoted love. “I think Lewis opened a lot of doors for all of us and it’s important to say, without him, it would be different these days.

Gasly is someone who has enormous respect for Hamilton. He told him that many times. Lewis Hamilton is one of the few who, in addition to his F1 career, advocates other things and promotes positive stories on the F1 scene.

Although there are many who are against it, Hamilton does not look back on such things. “I’ve always told him [that I respect him]. Actually I get on very well with Lewis, I often thank him for sticking to his values and to himself all these years because now it’s definitely made the path smoother for us young drivers”.
