In order to win the championship, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will have to fight until the very end of the season. There is a special relationship between the two of them, and there seems to be no 'bad blood' between them.
In an interview with Pardon My Take, Perez talked about Max Verstappen and the way the Dutchman handles defeat. It looks like the rumor that Max was a 'bad loser' was not true after all. According to Perez, Max approaches Perez directly after every victory he achieves, congratulates him on a great race and congratulates him on a good day.
"He's a good loser, I'll say," Perez said, as quoted by crash.net "He has a fame of [a] bad loser. But honestly whenever I beat him he's like, he's really like 'well done'. And it's not very normal in F1 to have like, that sort of teammate.
He really comes and you know, 'well done mate' and you can see that he feels it, and that's... I appreciate that."
Christian Horner on Red Bull's dominance: Anything is possible
Red Bull has a huge dominance this season, and the rival teams have to find a solution for it.
Christian Horner emphasized how "jealous" other teams are of their successes, which is enough to say the fact that they used to call them just a "drinking company". “I think it pisses them off, to be honest,” Horner said.
“If you are an OEM and you’re being beaten up by a bunch of people from a fizzy drinks can. Sometimes it sits a little uncomfortably but it just shows that if you get the right people together, the right tools, the right belief.
Anything is possible. We’ve done it on the chassis side so we thought why not do it on the engine side as well”.
