Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes will extend the contract?!

There was a lot of talk about the extension of the collaboration between Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes. Hamilton confirmed last year that they will sit down and make the best decision. “We are going to do another deal. We're going to sit down and we're going to discuss it in these next couple of months, I would say”.
- Hamilton said, as quoted by motorsport.com. Wolff also talked about the potential extension of the cooperation before the end of the season. “We haven’t started having talks,” said Wolff. “We want to definitely finish the season and then find some quiet time over the winter like we have done last time around, that literally started in the winter holidays and lasted over two months.
We haven’t done that." In February of this year, Wolff gave some more hints. “We have a full year to go,” said Wolff. “We're so aligned. In the last 10 years our relationship has grown that it's just a matter of him physically being back in Europe, sticking our heads together, wrestling a bit and then leaving the room with white smoke after a few hours”.
Lewis Hamilton on the new contract
It is still not known how long the contract will last, but it should be signed soon. “I’m not putting a limit on it, to be honest,” he said in Mexico last year. “I’m planning to do a multi-year deal with my team.
I really, really don’t know what the next five years [hold], I think we’re still trying to work on that. There’s a lot of great things that are being put in place, like I’ve just launched a [film] production company this week.
But I feel great, like in mind and body. I think there’s more stuff to achieve together. I just don’t know [how long]”.
