It was our first chance to get a deeper look at Alone in the Dark Spotlight last night but we were also given some more specific details about the reboot of one of the pioneers of the survival horror genre. There were a few new details given, as well as an official release date and a playable demo version, among other things.
On the occasion of the above showcase, it was announced that THQ Nordic and Pieces Interactive will release Alone in the Dark on October 25. It had also been revealed that, as we already knew, the game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms.
Upon release, the game itself cost $59.99, £49.99, or €59.99, and pre-orders are now being accepted for the digital edition of the game.
DETAILS
In terms of the details of the game itself, it was revealed back in July that the characters Emily Harwood and Edward Carnby, which are the main protagonists of the game, will be played by Jodie Comer and David Harbor, who are well-known actors from TV, films, and theatre.
It is expected that the game will offer a different experience and a different story depending on which character we choose to play with, which means that there will at least be two chance to complete the game. From now on, you will be able to see for yourself what kind of game lies ahead this fall, right before Halloween, since immediately after this showcase ended, a playable prologue demo of Grace in the Dark, which takes place a couple of weeks before the event, "landed" from the game itself and can be played immediately.
As of right now, you can download the demo from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Steam. Gamers expect that this video game will really fulfill their expectations and that they will get what they expect. There is no doubt that this video game will be a real hit. It is true that the creators of this game put a lot of effort into it.
