As part of a partnership between Strictly Limited Games and Mebius and Starfish, a collection of two games has been announced called Steel Empire Chronicles for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, a combination of Steel Empire and Over Horizon.
The Strictly Limited Games Store has already opened the pre-orders for the Limited Edition of the game and they can only be placed there. The game, as well as being available through consoles, also has a PC version available that you can purchase through Steam
.In Steel Empire, we face off against a variety of aircraft while avoiding and shooting everything that stands in our way during this steam punk shoot'em up retro game. You have the option of choosing from 4 different levels of difficulty, as well as having a Replay Mode that enables you to see how you played the game.
There are several stages in the game that we must complete in order to progress on to the next level, and each stage has its own boss that we must defeat before being able to proceed to the next stage. As we all know, in this kind of game, we get to pick from two different planes with which to shoot at our enemies.
At the end of each stage, we also get to choose the upgrade in which we want to advance.
Over Horizon
In 1991, Over Horizon, a shooter for the Famicom/Nintendo Entertainment System, was released, and it was developed by the same team as Steel Empire, which was released a few years earlier.
Originally, it was only released in Japan and Germany, and the rest of the world did not receive it. There is a game in which you control a space fighter, and one of the objectives is to destroy a large number of enemies in order to defeat an alien threat that is intent upon dominating the universe.
You won't be able to get your hands on the limited edition for long. Steel Empire Chronicles is an opportunity for anyone who is a fan of retro games to immerse themselves in the world of these legendary games.
