In a remarkable display of cycling prowess, Soudal-QuickStep put on a masterclass at the Tour of Slovakia, and Rémi Cavagna emerged as the overall victor, capping off an extraordinary team performance. Cavagna's path to triumph was paved with an impressive victory on the opening stage, where he showcased his solo riding prowess with a daring 45-kilometer attack on the challenging Košice parcours.

This monumental effort allowed him to secure a substantial 2 minutes and 16 seconds lead, setting the tone for his ultimate success. Throughout the tour, Soudal-QuickStep continued to dominate the competition. Tim Merlier, another star from the team, triumphed in the bunch sprints on stages 2 and 4, outpacing his rivals, including Cees Bol of Astana Qazaqstan.

However, on the final stage, it was Kasper Asgreen's turn to shine as he executed a late attack in the last kilometer, culminating in a perfect five-day performance for the team in Slovakia. Stage 3 witnessed yet another Soudal-QuickStep victory, this time courtesy of Andrea Bagioli, who clinched a reduced-group sprint victory after enduring the toughest stage of the race.

This win marked the team's 50th victory of the season.
