Avi Barot passed away at the age of 29 after a heart attack

Avi Barot, the Saurashtra wicketkeeper-batsman, has died after heart attack at the age of 29. Barot had a great career behind him in which he achieved a large number of successes. He made his debut in 2011 at the age of 19 and showed how great his talent is.

In the following years he was one of the main players of his teams and showed that he can always be counted on. Yet his biggest success is the title with the Saurashtra team in the 2019/2020 season in which he excelled along with his teammates Many expressed their condolences on social media after his death, and showed sympathy with his family after a death of a young man.

Jaydev Shah, the President of the Saurashtra Cricket Association said: "This is absolutely shocking and painful to learn about Avi's sad demise. He was a great teammate and had great cricketing skills. In all recent domestic matches, he performed remarkably well."

"He was a very friendly and noble human being. We all at The Saurashtra Cricket Association is in deep shock. " "Everyone at Saurashtra Cricket Association (is) deeply shocked and saddened on (the) very shocking, untimely and extremely sad demise of Avi Barot, remarkable and notable cricketer of Saurashtra.

"He left for heavenly abode in the evening of 15th October 2021 due to severe cardiac arrest," the SCA stated in its address to the media


Former India batsman Wasim Jaffer also expressed his condolences: "Deeply saddened to know that Avi Barot is no more.

A cardiac arrest at the age of 29 .. devastating. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. I hope they find the strength to cope with this irreparable loss." Yuvraj Singh took to Twitter: "Really shocked to hear of the young Avi Barot passing away.

Life can be unpredictable and unfair! I pray for the strength of his family and loved ones to deal with this irreplaceable loss Folded hands Om Shanti" Sarang Bhalerao is aware of what kind of player we lost: "Thoughts and prayers to Avi Barot's family for the irreparable loss.

He was only 29. Avi was a promising batsman & was loved by his teammates. He scored a half century in the Ranji Trophy final which Saurashtra won in 2019-20. Om shanti " Indeed, one big face left us too soon, and you can see how much he meant to cricket as a sport, and we hope that there will be as few such cases as possible in the future
