Muhammad Kaif talks about Jasprit Bumrah's return: "The biggest factor is Bumrah"

The former Indian cricket player Muhammad Kaif thinks team India is performing at its best right now and believes that Jasprit Bumrah can bridge the gap and significantly boost India's chances of winning the world cup. Team India will be competing against Ireland soon, and then they will be showing up for the Asia Cup 2023.

The good news is that Bumrah will be making his return for the Ireland series, and it will be very interesting to see how well he performs. The first t20 with Ireland starts on the 18th of August, and Jasprit Bumrah is the captain for the entire series.

Muhammad Kaif's thoughts on Jasprit Bumrah

Muhammad Kaif isn't firmly convinced about Team india's current form and believes that Jasprit Bumrah will play a huge role in helping India win. "If Bumrah is fully fit then India will be a strong side, It will depend on the players who are injured," Kaif said, as quoted by hindustantimes.com.

"Bumrah, I think, will be the key if he comes back fully fit. How fit is he we will get to know in Asia Cup. He is going to Ireland right now. So, I am going to see his bowling. If Bumrah is fully fit then India will be a strong side at home".

"India will have problems before World Cup, 50-over is a different format. In Australia, it was a T20 format which we played but India play well against Pakistan. They always play well in ICC events, they have a good record against Pakistan.

Kaif further said: At the moment India is not looking the strongest on paper because they are missing the key players. We are missing KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant. The biggest factor is Bumrah. If he does not make a comeback then India will have to work harder.

We still do not have Bumrah's backup. If Bumrah does not play then we can lose. We will have problems before World Cup.
