Tommy Fury had to withdraw from the fight against Jake Paul once again. Namely, the reason for his decision is the problems with entering the USA. Jake Paul was not happy after hearing this, and his reaction soon followed: "Fury's received a termination notice.
MVP did everything he could 2 help him & team. He wasn't interested & he literally went into hiding. 2nd time in a row he has pulled out. 2nd time in a row I'm going to step up & take on a new opponent on short notice.
AUG 6 MSG."
Tommy Fury reaction
Tommy Fury is sad about it and hopes that the problems will be solved soon. He doesn't even understand how this happened. However, he hopes that a solution will be found and that he and Jake Paul will meet in the ring.
“I’m gutted and disappointed in regards to the issues I have faced with entry into the USA,” Fury wrote on Instagram. “This is something that myself or my team could have never anticipated happening.
This situation has been left with my lawyers, as being denied entry to a country is obviously a very issue, and it needs to be subsequently be resolved. “I’m confident this fight will happen when this issue gets resolved, and we come to a solution.
I want to clarify that I will fight in a neutral country that both parties can enter. This can be any time, any place, any where”. “I can stand here, and I say I’ve done absolutely nothing wrong, and I have no clue why I’m not allowed to travel to the USA,” Fury said.
Jake Paul then quickly reacted on Twitter and sent a message to everyone. He thinks Fury is a coward and just wants to avoid a fight. “It is official: Tommy Fury is boxing’s biggest b*tch,” Paul said. “He has pulled out of the fight.
The Furys have pulled out of the fight due to a ‘medical condition.’ Who knows what the f*ck is going on in that camp? … I couldn’t believe the news at first. It still doesn’t even seem real. He fumbled the biggest bag of his life.
Now he will be watching at home, paying me $60 instead of getting paid millions of dollars to fight me. I’ve fought with a broken nose, I’ve fought sick, get the f*ck over it. This is boxing. It’s official: He was scared, I think the sh*t talk got to him. That’s the bad news.
