Anderson Silva the main favorite to fight Jake Paul!

According to bookmakers, Jake Paul could face by far the most difficult challenge so far in his next performance. Namely, according to the foreign bookmaker BetOnline, Anderson Silva is the biggest favorite to become the next fighter to share the ring with YouTube.

The odds that this will be the legendary Brazilian MMA fighter is 4.00, while Tommy Fury is the second favorite (4.50). Among those on offer are names like Dillon Danis, Nate Diaz, Conor McGregor and even Canelo Alvarez and Mike Tyson.

However, the odds on them are significantly higher than on Anderson Silva and Tommy Fury. Jake Paul had a fight against Tyron Woodley last weekend and celebrated with a knockout in the sixth round. Twice Paul has beaten the UFC champion within 2021, and Silva would offer him a chance to record another win over the former UFC champion.

However, Anderson Silva is a completely different story from Tyron Woodley, at least when it comes to boxing. The 46-year-old Brazilian devoted himself to boxing performances this year and recorded two impressive victories.

The victory against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. stands out in particular. The Mexican is behind 60 professional boxing matches (52-6-1, 1 NC) and is a former world middleweight champion. However, "Spider" managed to beat him in his third professional boxing match in his career.

Silva played another boxing match, but Tito Ortiz proved to be an absolutely inadequate opponent and Silva knocked him out after 82 seconds of fighting. There is no doubt that many MMA fans would love to see "Spider" in the ring with Paul.

Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren have greatly compromised the reputation of MMA fighters when it comes to boxing skills, and Silva is a great choice to save the reputation of MMA fighters. Still, it’s hard to hope that YouTuber will agree to such a quality opponent who, unlike his previous opponents, is also physically more dominant than YouTube.

Tommy Fury was actually supposed to fight Jake Paul last weekend, but the match was canceled due to injury. Tyson Fury’s half-brother somehow still imposes himself as the most logical choice for Jake’s next match, and Silva is likely to face somewhat more serious matches than those with YouTubers.

In any case, whoever it is, we know that Paul will make a big 'hype' and that he will make an overture before the match in his classic way. Most believe that Paul should enter the ring with a professional boxer if he wants to show his true quality
