Terence Crawford (37-0, 28 KO) is one of those boxers who find it incredibly difficult to arrange a match. While somehow the realistic desire of all boxers should be to hunt for titles and win against the best, all the promotional speculation and combinations have led to the biggest champions almost having to agree to compromises just to fight.
The best example is Crawford, the former absolute welterweight champion and now WBO welterweight champion for three years. He has defended the title four times so far, and despite the desire to unite all the belts, he failed to get an opportunity to fight Thus, he will defend the mentioned title for the fifth time, but the positive news about this is that this time he has a really valuable opponent, a real well-known boxing name.
It is until recently WBC champion Shawn Porter (31-3-1, 17 KOs), who will face him on November 20th. Thus, another storry was finally completed, during which Crawford hoped that his promoters would manage to arrange a hunt for another title, but this did not happen again.
Still, judging by his Twitter post, “Bud” seems pleased with the fact that for the first time since November last year, he will find himself in the ring. "What Ali say? “Ima show you how great I am” November 20th the world will see."

Porter vs Crawford
Luckily, Porter was a boxer who from the beginning did not hide his intention to oppose Crawford and try to reach the title once again. He lost the one he had in September 2019, by a split decision after a great match against Errol Spence Jr.
He has been out of action for a long time, as he recorded his last match in August last year, in which he defeated Sebastian Formella,. The biggest wish of the fans, but also of Crawford, would be a match against Spence, who currently holds WBC and IBF titles and is also an undefeated boxer.
It would actually be one of the biggest matches that professional boxing can offer at the moment. Spence and his team have different plans though. He was scheduled to fight Manny Pacquiao this summer but canceled the match just days before the event.
That way, he would have the opportunity to add the WBA title, but in the end it went to Yordenis Ugas, who jumped in as a replacement and then defeated the great Filipino, who retired a few days ago. Ugas is also a candidate for a head-to-head match against one of the remaining two title holders, but we’ll see what happens over time.
Crawford now faces the exam Porter is offering him, and it won't be easy. Although this is not a match to unite the title, there is no doubt that this is one of the best fights that boxing offers us until the end of this year.
