Jake Paul thinks Mayweather can't help Woodley

Two weeks separate us from the fight that many are waiting for in the hope that someone will finally put an end to young YouTuber Jake Paul. Three boxing matches were played by 24-year-old Jake and he celebrated with a stoppage each time.

He attracted special attention by defeating retired MMA fighter Ben Askren by knockout in the first round. Big pressure and expectations have been imposed on former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, who is expected to silence the young Youtube star.

At the beginning of its preparations, "T-Wood" received an invitation from the legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather, who offered Woodley to prepare him for the upcoming match against Paul. Recall, Floyd held an exhibition boxing match against Jake’s older brother Logan Paul in early June this year.

The fight ended without a winner, and Jake Paul doesn’t see how Floyd can help Woodley prepare for their match. '' I think it's going to have a negative effect on Tyron. "You progress with one coach and one spotlight, doing and repeating the same things over and over again, adding a little something new each time.

Floyd didn't have a strategy to beat my brother and so I don't see what advice he can give Tyron Woodley, '' Jake told TMZ, explaining why Mayweather accepted the role of Tyron's coach. '' I think he (Floyd) sees what I'm doing in this sport and he wants to put an end to it.

He is a very greedy guy who does not want anyone to be more popular and recognized than him. He wants to see my defeat, he wants my story to stop, '' Jake Paul added.

To some extent, we can agree with Jake that for Woodley, a sudden change of camp and experimentation with different fighting styles and ways of working don't make much sense.

However, Tyron Woodley as a former UFC champion and a person with 27 professional MMA matches needs to beat an inexperienced amateur like Jake Paul no matter where and with whom he trains. But Jake Paul is motivated as always and looks full of confidence.

Yet, even that self-confidence doesn’t play a big role when you have an opponent against you who is much more experienced than you and who has a lot more fights than you. Such facts are very important in this match, but we will see if they will decide in the end
