Match between Badr Hari and Wrzosek will take place in July

After suffering a heavy defeat by Benjamin Adegbuy last December, in a match that gave many the impression that Badr Hari was no longer the very top of world kickboxing, the Moroccan will embark on a mission to prove the opposite.

He decided to work out his contract with Glory to the end and thus arranged a new match. On July 17 at the Ahoy Hall in Rotterdam, there will be a Glory 78 event in which the main fight will be "Golden Boy", and he will face Poland's Arkadis Wrzosek.

Harry is currently in a series of three defeats and one canceled fight (in which he originally registered a victory), and the last time he registered a victory was back in 2015. Among those three defeats are two from Rico Verhoeven, both of which came after the injury of the 36-year-old Moroccan and mentioned from Adegbuyi, where he actually lost the match by simply giving up due to receiving damage.

But before that, he looked good, even at the end of the second round he almost finished the Romanian hitter. One of the best of all time believes he still has what it takes to get back to the very top.

Arkadiusz Wrzosek

The first step on the way back will be the aforementioned Arkadiusz Wrzosek, a 28-year-old Polish 201-centimeter-tall fighter who has performed at Glory twice so far, most recently back in November 2019.

He has recorded 18 professional matches in his career so far, recording 13 wins and five defeats, which only proves to us how inexperienced he is compared to Harry, who has a ratio of 106-15 on his resume, with 92 wins by the break.

Badr is currently in third and Wrzosek in eighth place in Glory’s heavyweight rankings. At the moment, it is not known whether there are any more fights for this event, which could certainly be interesting to the spectators and which could be a good introduction before the main fight.

Both fighters, Badr Hari and Wrzosek will be motivated before this fight, and especially Badr Hari who will want to show the world of kickboxing that he is still one of the best and that he only had a bad day in the previous fight.

Wrzosek is aware of what kind of match awaits him and what kind of fighter awaits him in the ring, so we have no doubt that he will be maximally ready and use the opportunity that will be given to him.
