Boxing trainer Robert Garcia believes Francis Ngannou wouldn’t stand a chance against Anthony Joshua if they ever clashed in the ring. Many fans and other boxing experts may disagree with Robert Garcia’s statement as Francis Ngannou absolutely shocked the world by ‘schooling’ the heavyweight champion of the world.

The majority of the people found it quite difficult to digest the split decision announced by the judges as spectators were under the impression of Ngannou claiming a dominating win. Ngannou could most likely fight a top heavyweight boxer for his 2nd match.

Perhaps Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder....... or Tyson Fury for the rematch. Anthony Joshua wants to fight quality opponents this year, and it will be very interesting to see who he ends up fighting next. AJ could fight Zhilei Zhang, Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk or Francis Ngannou next.

In a recent interview with ESNEWS, Robert Garcia briefly explained why he wouldn’t like to see Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou. “It’s an easy fight for Joshua.

Those fights shouldn’t even be sanctioned,” Garcia said, as quoted by boxingnews24.com. “Ngannou, fighting the heavyweight champion of the world, Fury, it shouldn’t have been sanctioned. It’s a disrespect to boxing not to train one single day for that fight.

It was embarrassing. In heavyweight boxing [of this era], none of these guys would hang with Mike Tyson, Holyfield, Holmes. That was different. Lennox Lewis would be doing really good now. He would beat most everybody. Joshua is one of the good ones, but you can’t compare them to the 80s and 90s”.

Francis Ngannou is going to focus on his PFL debut in the first quarter of this year; once he settles that, fans can expect him to enter the boxing realm again.
