Eddie Hearn is not optimistic about Tyson Fury's chances against Oleksandr Usyk. After Fury's last match against Francis Ngannou, many were surprised by Gypsy King's performance and expected him to show more. However, Fury didn't impress anyone, even though he managed to win in the end. Hearn is still under the impression of that fight. He believes that Fury has certain physical advantages over Usyk. Without it, Hearn is not optimistic that Fury will get the win.

“I really believed he was quite a strong favorite pre-Ngannou,” Hearn told MMA Fighting. “We don’t really know physically where he’s at. I mean, he’s lucky that Usyk’s not a puncher, he’s lucky Usyk’s a much smaller man. Because I think against a bigger guy, against a puncher, against a guy that can wrestle him on the inside, I think his confidence really wouldn’t be there in a fight like that."

Eddie Hearn: I do think Fury will win the fight

It is difficult to predict what can happen in the match between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. If the last fight between Fury and Ngannou hadn't happened, the majority would have given Gypsy King the advantage. This way, many boxing fans expect Usyk to win. Hearn is also in a dilemma, given that he does not know how ready Fury is at this moment, and what kind of mental state he is in.

"So I do think Fury will win the fight, but you certainly can’t rule out Usyk, and we just don’t know where [Fury is] at physically or mentally after a fight like that [Ngannou performance]. He didn’t look himself in that fight, but perhaps he was just ill prepared.”- Hearn said.

This upcoming match is incredibly anticipated. It's a showdown between the two top boxers of the moment, going head-to-head
