Logan Paul recently announced that he will focus more on his wrestling career and has retired from boxing, leaving his professional boxing record to 1-1. Logan last fought Dillon Danis and claimed a dominating victory. In the post-fight interview, Logan Paul called out Conor Mcgregor and clearly said that he isn’t done with boxing because it is like a hobby for him.
Paul recently claimed the US championship belt in the WWE by beating Rey Mysterio at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. Jake Paul does not believe Logan has retired and can see him fighting in the ring again. Considering Logan’s fighting frequency, it would be fair to assume that it will take him 1-2 years to step back into the ring again.
Jake Paul on Logan Paul’s retirement
Recently on the MMA Hour, Jake Paul shared his thoughts on Logan Paul saying the retired from the sport of boxing. “I don’t believe that,” Paul said as quoted by mmafighting.com.
“I don’t know when he’ll fight, but he’s just got so much fight in him. He’s going into his athletic prime. I think he’s going to fight again, for sure. I think that stuff happens in families, and happens especially between brothers who are in the same industry, two years apart, that’s normal, but it didn’t need to be handled publicly.
But hey, you know what? At the end of the day, we’re humans. We’ve made so many mistakes and navigating this world isn’t easy. We’re just doing the best we can, and at the end of the day, just figuring out as we go”.
KSI said something similar, he may take a long break before returning. The bitter loss against Tommy Fury may push him to fight Tommy for a rematch and it will be very interesting to see when KSI makes his return.
