Joe Joyce's fight against Chinese heavyweight Zhilei Zhang is getting a lot of attention these days. Of course, the name of the popular Irishman Tyson Fury had to be involved. A lot of media these days have reported that Fury intends to prepare Joyce for the fight.

However, there is one condition...
British boxer Joe Joyce (38) revealed today that WBC world champion Tyson Fury asked him for 10,000 pounds per sparring round, in order to prepare him for the rematch against China's Zhilei Zhang, which will be held tomorrow in London, and called him out for the fact that he is running away from the fight with Oleksander Usyk.

Joe Joyce told the English media that WBC world champion Tyson Fury offered him his services during the preparations for the rematch against Zhilei Zhang on September 23 in London. However, Joyce refused the offer. It's no wonder he did this as the arrogant King of the Gypsies demanded a whopping £10,000 per sparring round

Joyce pointed out that the Irishman had slightly overestimated himself

"I wouldn't spar with him for many reasons.

First, he's overrated. £10,000 a round is too much," says Joyce and continues: "Number two, I already sparred with him. I know it would be a good preparation, but I didn't accept because the fight with him could be one of the next and I didn't want to reveal his tactics." Joe Joyce then told Fury that he was avoiding a match with the Ukrainian Oleksandar Usyk and that he had always hoped that the match would take place.

Then he pointed out that Fury called the Ukrainian that he was small and a bum and that he would literally kill him in the ring, but he still avoided the match with Usyk even though there were a couple of times when the two of them faced each other.

Of course, we would all like to see that match, and all boxing fans really wonder why that match hasn't taken place yet, considering that both fighters would have taken a huge amount of money.
"It's frustrating. I always thought a fight between them would happen and now things are quite strange.

It's strange that he didn't accept the fight with Usyk even though he calls him small and then runs away. It's disappointing for all boxing fans." the message is from Joe Joyce. Joe Joyce and Zhilei Zhang fight for the interim WBO heavyweight belt.

The Chinese has been owned by him since April when, to everyone's surprise, he beat Joyce by technical knockout. The Briton has a record of 15-1 in his career, and he defeated well-known names such as Joseph Parker, Carlos Takam, Daniel Dubois, Bermane Stiverne...

He even won 14 fights by knockout. Zhilei Zhang is 40 years old with a record of 25 wins, one draw and one loss. His only defeat was inflicted by Filip Hrgović, and even there he was very close to victory.
