Logan Paul last fought against Floyd Mayweather in 2021 and shocked the world by surviving all 8 rounds without getting knocked out. After being inactive for nearly 2 years, Logan Paul will now fight Dillon Danis this October 14th.
Logan Paul seems to be interested in fighting Conor McGregor, and it will be interesting to see if that fight can ever happen in the future. The recent press conference was absolutely heated; Danis and Paul's animosity led to an intense argument yesterday.
From the entertainment standpoint, fans are doubtlessly enjoying this, and it also plays a huge role in marketing the event. Logan Paul teased Dillon Danis with a cake and poster, and in return, Danis ruthlessly brought up Paul's fiancé, Nina Agdal and said a lot of things that must have infuriated Logan Paul.
Logan Paul: You don’t have to take it out on me because my brother hooked up with your Ex
Dillon Danis: At least I got rid of the slut, you’re marrying one.
?? BRO Dillon Danis won today and won everything.Idc if logan knocks him out. Dillon wins. pic.twitter.com/qB5MhJOXN1 — Javier Aliaga (@javieraliaga_) August 22, 2023
Logan Paul on fighting Conor McGregor
In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Logan Paul spoke about fighting Conor McGregor and reflected on his fight with Floyd Mayweather and how it changed him as a person.
"Maybe, if he has the [courage], I would fight Conor McGregor," Paul said as quoted by skysports.com. "He knows how that would end. I'll try. Conor goes radio silent when I tweet at him and I bring his name up." "Fighting Floyd Mayweather, he's the greatest boxer alive.
What does that do to your mind? This would just eat every other person's brain away. "You go against Floyd Mayweather, if you live, you're going to get respect. Paul further said: I definitely think people respected I had the [courage] to get in there.
"He [Mayweather] guaranteed a knockout, Round eight ends and I think: 'I just changed my entire life.' And I did. I knew if I weathered Floyd that night and I was able to stay strong, my whole life would change and it really has.
I don't want to be a professional boxer. I have so many interests and passions that I want to pursue. Boxing's fun. I really like it, I like entertaining, this is an amazing opportunity to entertain a lot of people".
