Cabrera vs Cruz press conference
During the recent press conference, both fighters shared their thoughts on the upcoming match, they seem to be more interested in letting their hands do the talking tomorrow night, and it will be interesting to see how well they perform.
“I’ve defeated more undefeated fighters than most people in boxing history,” Cabrera said, as quoted by boxingnews24.com. “If you look at Pitbull Cruz’s first 20 fights, no disrespect. He’s made it this far, and he’s had some great fights against good opponents.
Most of those opponents weren’t really good at all. I believe I’ve earned this spot here, and I believe I’m going to take this belt”. Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz, in response to Cabrera, had nothing much to say, but he revealed that he is going to show what he is capable of doing and talked about the rematch with Gervonta Davis.
“I have absolutely nothing to say to you,” Cruz said, as quoted by boxingnews24.com. “Do you know why? Because I’m going to come out on Saturday, and I’m going to prove my worth, and then I’m going to show why I’m worth a rematch with Gervonta Davis”.
As far as professional records are concerned, Giovanni Cabrera has a professional record of 21-0 (7 knockouts), and Isaac Cruz is slightly ahead in terms of experience with a record of 24-2 (17 knockouts).
