Errol Spence Jr is ready to outperform Crawford: “I’m going to be in his face 24/7”

Errol Spence Jr seems to be ready with his game plan for his highly-anticipated clash against Terrence Crawford, and interestingly, he didn’t shy away from revealing it in great detail. In terms of experience, Crawford is comfortably ahead, but the outcome of this intense match will break down to skill and the will to succeed.

Spence keeps it quite simple; his strategy is to pressurize Crawford – which doesn’t necessarily mean an aggressive approach; he just wants to bother him constantly until Crawford reaches a stage of mental exhaustion and pressure.

It will be interesting to see how well his plans work out for him on the 29th of July; we are exactly 10 days away from witnessing this mega event.

Errol Spence Jr on his plan

Recently on The Pivot Podcast, Errol Spence Jr shared his game plan and explained how he will fight against Terrence Crawford.

“If I have to step to him, you know I’m going to step to him,” Spence said, as quoted by boxingnews24.com. “I feel like he’s going to wilt before me. I’m going to be in his face 24/7. I know the body can only take so much before it breaks down.

So if I keep chopping, it’s like a drop of water hitting a brick. After a while, that water is going to start chipping at that brick and get through”. “So, I just keep coming at them, coming at them, and keep touching them, I don’t throw a of punches.

I just keep touching you. A lot of times, it’s not even hard loading up shots. I’m just touching you and basically making your mind overthink. Your mind is going into overload”.
