Throughout the history of WWE, Mike Tyson has been called to the rings several times by different pro-wrestling companies, two above all the McMahons' WWE and the Khan family's AEW. In WWE, Tyson was also a key figure at Wrestlemania 14, when he punched Shawn Michaels in the face, immediately knocking him out.

Apparently, according to some insiders, WWE had a match in store for Tyson in the company's rings, which JR excluded, in the latest episode of his Grilling JR. The WWE Hall of Famer, who was a top executive at the time, in his role as talent relations executive, said: "The real thing that closes this whole story is that we have never considered the idea of making Mike fight.

You can't put a brutal athlete like him in without training him in a ring with a guy who pulls the company and has a bad neck. You just don't, it's a risk and an ominous scenario that's too disproportionate. Mike has never been considered, at least as far as I know."

Tyson talked last June about Will Smith's slap to Chris Rock

Now, like we racall, the former boxer and actor Mike Tyson talked last June about Will Smith's slap to Chris Rock, which took place at the penultimate edition of the Oscars, that of 2022.

A gesture that has been talked about a lot in the months following the incident, up to the irony and jokes of this year's host, Jimmy Kimmel. In that appearance on the same host's popular talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Tyson was asked by the host if he had seen Smith's infamous slap, a solicitation and a question to which the former heavyweight champion had answered affirmatively calling it interesting.

Kimmel later noted that the last time he was this shocked during a live broadcast event was around the time of Tyson's equally infamous bite on the ear of his in-ring opponent, Evander Holyfield. "I don't know, if Will Smith, thought it necessary to do it, if he's not shocked, I'm not shocked," Tyson himself, who at the time had recently returned to the spotlight for beating a visibly drunk passenger on a plane who had repeatedly harassed him.

Smith, we recall, was removed from the Academy for his gesture with a ten-year ban and his career came to an abrupt stop, with many projects put on hold. The actor's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, had recently broken her silence on the slap at the Oscars 2022, on alopecia Rock had made a joke, unleashing the wrath of her husband live worldwide, shortly after, Smith would have withdrawn in tears, and with an apology attached, his Oscar for Best Actor for King Richard.
